Ciarán Ferrie Architects was formed in 2010 as an independent architectural consultancy. The practice is founded on the belief of the importance of design at all stages of a project from masterplanning to construction.
Ciarán Ferrie has over 20 years experience as a practising architect and has designed projects across the world from New York to Tbilisi and from Moscow to Sydney.
He has an established record in the successful delivery of projects in multiple sectors including Hospitality, Education, Commercial and Residential.
This success is reflected in several awards including the CEEQA Building of the Year 2010 and the MAPIC Best Retail Development Award 2011 for Eurovea International Trade Centre in Bratislava, Slovakia; the Opus Architecture & Construction Award 2008 for University College Dublin Health Sciences Centre; and the Construction Excellence Award 2001 for NUI Galway Information Technology Centre.
More recently the practice was Commended at the Irish Design Awards 2017 for the Abhaile Project and was a Finalist in the Fit Out Awards 2016 for the UCD Agile Workspace.
Ciarán is an RIAI accredited Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) and is a Director and founding member of Fumbally Exchange, a co-working community headquartered in Dame Lane, Dublin 2.
